Hey there guys this is a short experiment to show the dangers of dumping water into a burning oil.

Note. This kind of experiment should be done far away from your house. Not for kids.

Firstly i heated up waste oil in a container an lit it up with fire and waited a few minutes for the fire to burn well 

And then i walked some meters away from the fire and then i dumped water into the container. And immediately a huge flame burst out this is a very dangerous experiment.

 

I could even feel a great amount of heat from a distance

Science behind 

As water is denser than that of oil if you pour water on burning oil it set down permitting the petrol or oil to rise up to the surface and enhance the burning in a continued manner.

Warning. If you have a wast oil stove just make sure not to turn it off with water
